Kendo Samurai warrior experience

Kendo samurai warriors

Does your team have the power, confidence, and trust to succeed?

The Way of the Warrior is one of the most powerful and exhilarating teambuilding events your team will experience.

Kendo and The Samurai Warrior Activities are great Team Building activities for teams and leaders of businesses wanting to learn about focus and commitment.

We ask you, in your experience what is more important, having a great plan or having the desire to follow it through?

We have realised that it is both that matter. It is about execution as well as having a good strategy. It is for this reason that we have built the Samurai program that addresses both of these issues, building the strategy and executing it. For centuries the most respected as well as feared masters of self-leadership was the Samurai warrior. Not only were they renowned as warriors but also as great artisans and administrators. One of interesting aspects of their reign was that they developed a code of practice for self-leadership that enabled them to be highly successful in times of great uncertainty and turbulence. This code of behaviour provides a sturdy framework for operating in today’s business world where we can no longer rely on concepts of leadership that are no longer relevant any more.

‘Successful and unsuccessful people do not vary greatly in their abilities. They vary in their desires to reach their potential.’ – John Maxwell

Using the ancient ways of the Samurai warriors, and the art of Japanese Sword Fencing, individuals are taken on a journey that tests their commitment while building self-trust and focus. The Way of the Warrior activity is taught by a Kendo Master, with the sessions taking participants step by step through the art and skills of Kendo. Available throughout Australia and Singapore.

Ideal for teams that wish to explore new concepts such as ‘Raising the Bar’, this team activity promotes an understanding of self leadership, accountability and actions. The Way of the Warrior is perfect for a 2 hour session, and includes options for progressive learning, extra sessions, indoor programs and tailored leadership. This is a one of a kind experience that should not be missed.

Our approach to training and development

During our Kendo Program we provide the most appropriate training and development, the Program Leader will use knowledge, experience and judgement to direct the learning to meet both the needs of the program participants and the organisation.

Adults learn best when:

  • Learning is directly relevant to their needs;
  • Their own knowledge and experience is valued;
  • They can actively participate in the learning exercise; and
  • They learn in an environment, which is informal, encouraging, and promotes mutual respect.
