Teambuilding Case Studies one:

A leading accounting firm was seeking a team initiative program that was flexible to be implemented in different states of Australia to new graduates. Each state had various group sizes, but the focus was integration and the understanding of the company’s values and culture.

With over 40 programs to offer, we presented a few choices that we thought would appeal to the ‘younger intakes’ plus address the outcomes. So ‘Spy Hunt – A licence to Spy’ was suggested and instantly approved for this program gets all involved, uses technology and social media platforms, low physical and adapts to locations.

Case Study Two:

A regional conference for 140 pax, 3 hour pm window of time, on day one, of a busy three day, two night agenda. The brief ‘ a team building activity where all can take part, must be time tight, competitive yet weather adaptive and include key strategy themes.

Outcome: ‘The Pitch’ team building activity, where teams of 10 pax create a 3 minute TV Commercial, pitched to a target audience, including the theme and business principles.

The extra advantage, was that we facilitated the ‘screening’ in the evening of day two, as an ‘Oscars Night’ as the client had no agenda plans ‘ so we were able to create a solution for their night!

Case Study Three:

How do you keep 35 miners from the coal industry entertained at an evening on a two day conference / business workshop?

Simple; Game Show Trivia with a Team Casino added on. Teams were given about 2 hours to earn as many poker chips from the Game Show ‘ a hands on creative trivia challenge, then teams can boost their winnings on roulette, crabs, blackjack and poker.

Case Study Four:

A new formed team of 16 pax in banking and finance, working across different regions and locations were seeking an agenda to help build a united team.

Here we looked at team recreation vs team building, a simply fun time, was not going to get the team to fire up and work better. So we created a workshop about values, direction, culture and balance in the team. The workshop had illustrated team problem solving games, but these were facilitated to understand about key learning’s for the team. The majority of time was spent discussing and planning the teams directions in moving forward and what the future looked like ‘ the team principles were more focused on how easy issues are when the team are in sync, the players the business and the team all working in balance.
